Greetings from the Old North State!
I procured a Dan Wesson Bruin about 3 years ago and am just now finding this site! I'm an avid hunter and fisherman. Bow hunting is one of my biggest passions thus the draw to the challenge of handgun hunting. I've taken 3 deer with another 10 mm that shall remain nameless. The Dan Wesson Bruin is the finest 1911 in my arsenal but my eyes aren't what they used to be.
I'm hoping someone can direct me to the right place for mounting a reflex sight to this weapon that I've dedicated to hunting and ringing steel at my range. I'm efficient with it up close but past 40 yards I just can't see well enough anymore.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to reading the forum in other categories.
Cheers and brightest blessings!

Welcome to the DWF! Glad to have you here. It looks like the Bruin has a BoMar style cut but I'm not 100%, since I don't have one in hand.
Here is information on rear sight cuts
Here are BoMar mounting plates.
Hope that helps.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
