Hello everyone.
Been a member for quite some time but haven't signed on in ages due to life throwing me under the bus for quite a few years now. I have gone through a life altering event or 2 (finally in a good way) and now have time to do things I enjoy, such as spending some time with the good folks here as well as dusting off the Dan's and getting back to the range.
Thanks again to those of you reached out to me when things couldn't get much worse- I have never lost sight of that, even through the worst of times..... thus the reason I am trying to ease back into the forums. I hope to be able to help out some of the newer members and get to know you.
The purpose of this post is to welcome all of the new members that I don't know and say hello to the old hats as well. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things around here.

Hey CF, how are you doing? Hope everything is going well in your world.
I haven't talked to Dusty Trail in ages. We lost track of each other a couple years back when I hit bottom. Hope he is doing well though- he was a really good guy and I always enjoyed our range time together.
Hopefully he and I will cross paths again since we use the same range.

Thanks CF.
Should I see Dusty, I will definitely tell him hello and let him know the DWF family is asking about him.
I know what you mean about the economy- definitely hampers the enjoyment of GAS. Fortunately, the economy isn't doing too much damage to me presently since my wife and I found the means to get the house paid off. Life has improved dramatically for me and it feels great not to worry about where the next meal will come from.... it was a long, miserable road.
Glad to hear things are going pretty well for you as well.

I'm hoping life is on an upswing for you, I'm really happy you're here.

PS-You got a lotta catching up to do
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thank you Steve. I am really happy to be back with a positive outlook for the future.
I find myself in the unique position of being unemployed right now- this is actually a good thing, believe it or not. My present situation allows me a career change to obtain a job that I want to go to everyday that doesn't require large amounts of income or stress. Basically, an entire lifestyle change for the better.
I do have a lot of catching up to do so you all shall see me burning up some bandwidth trying to cover the missed ground over the past several years.

Chris,
Welcome back friend. It was a long time. Glad to hear there are some bright spots for you now and that you will find some time to smell the roses. It is always a bit dismal when friends drop from the radar and you don't know what's up. Please catch up and if I ever get a chance to visit Texas I'll try to look you up.

Thanks again for the warm welcome guys- I am glad to be back, especially without all of the previous baggage.
I am very pleased to see that almost everyone is still around the forums and that the forum is gaining momentum. I guess when you get a good bunch of folks together, it allows the family to grow and makes people want to participate.
-It feels good to be home.
