Not exactly a competition holster though...Safariland manufactures quality competition holsters. BTW- what competition and how about an intro?

Of course it's not .. I was being a smartass. The type of competition entirely dictates the style of holster.

first DW. first 1911. vying for idpa master esp
always wanted a 1911 but not in 45.
thought the timing was great. love the weapon.

Have you been shooting IDPA for a while? ESP is more competitive/ tougher than SSP if you're new to the sport... What enhancements are you doing to the PM9?

No worries Mongoose, I was a little cranky yesterday. We get lots of people that just ask a question or two, then disappear, never to be seen again.
Forums are great, in that you can gain all kinds of information that is helpful in our sport, whatever that discipline may be and make new friends. Many of us have actually gotten together for a Meet & Greet and then go shooting at a range and a bite to eat. Great camaraderie !

Nevermind... I looked up your May match- nice job w/ the two stage wins and overall in class. Finally, from one veteran to another- thanks!

shooting a few years
shooting ssp
hope to make master this year
then move on to esp
will do a magwell, diff mags, that is about it
any suggestions would be appreciated
