Howdy Folks, I'm retired USAF/DOD Navy guy, live in the Panhandle of Florida. I was looking for something special to purchase, had saved up my grass cutting money (no bull) and got lucky yesterday when out of the blue I decided to contact a bud of mine to see if he may have something nice he might want to get rid of and what a trip......did I ever call at the right time.....his daughter is getting married in September and he was low on the cash needed to give her a nice wedding so he was about to list two .44s on line for sell...a super nice Ruger Redhawk and oh my gosh, a Dan Wesson Blue 6" serial #0055xx with the extra ported barrel and tool. I really had a big choice to make, both just glistened of shiny beauty. I never expected this, really.....just a chance call, had been looking for something new. Took a hour and half of thinking and wondering if I wanted to pay 260 more for the DW......both were great deals and both guns were just looking at me saying, "Buy Me....NO....Buy Me"....yall know...lol..... confused Well as you know, I went with the DW......but I'm gonna go knock on some doors to get some more grass cutting money to purchase the Ruger, LOL.

This is my first .44 mag. I'm an AK nut, but NOT an AR hater. Love my 1911s, .357s, SA/DA .45s and Tactical Shotguns. I'm really looking forward to chatting with yall about pistols/rifles and will especially enjoy talking and learning from the "Guru's" of The Dan Wesson.... smile

I will try, I can't seem to download any more pictures to my computer from my phone for some reason.......working on it and have a friend coming over soon to see what problem is. Life was easier before computers, but without, we wouldn't be able to share pictures...lol

I'll have some later for sure. I'm still reading the wealth of info available on the net. I had no clue Karl Lewis was the mastermind behind the modular revolver for DW. I had a Colt Trooper he designed, wish I still had it.
