I have a big frame .357 I'd like to know more about. Can someone point me to model descriptions and serial # lists so I can find out more about my Monson-labeled DW? I'm considering selling w/the 3 barrels but don't really know what I have!!surprised

Welcome to the forum. At the top of this screen, cursor to archive, then serial numbers, it is a list we are developing to try to build a timeline for production. Try https://www.danwessonforum.com/forum/revolvers/what-model-do-i-have-start-here/ for info and some pics of different models. Or better yet take a couple pics of what you have and post them, we love pics! I will warn you though if you hang out here you might start liking that revolver too much to sell it.

If you come up with more questions, just ask away.

welcome to the dwf-sign.  Pay no attention to Lonwolf's warning about liking a Dan.  Take it to the range and fire it some.  poke  Peruse some grips from LB and parts from EWK.  Don't worry, there is no such thing as dwas.

Seriously, if you post some pics, we can help you know what you've got.  It's hard to tell if you have a pac or a gun and parts.  Like anything else, condition and presentation play a huge part in determining price (if you do decide to sell.)

He says a 'big frame 357' could it be a model 40 357 Max by chance?

Agree post some pics, it will be faster and we can drool over them.

Scorpio, a 15-2 is often mistaken for a "big frame 357" by guys who are used to Smiffs, Taurus & even Colts.lol2 Not trying to assume, but that's how DW's are often perceived. laugh

Bluechip, welcome aboard! Let's see somecool-pics of that BIG gun & we'll tell you what it is in two shakes.wink
