Let me start with 
. Barrels and such are available from DW, not to be confused with CZ who owns DW, at least that's the way I look at it. Any way look in FAQs on the right side of your screen for contact info. Also the auction sites (Ie. gunbroker, auction arms etc) have stuff from time to time if you are patient.

Are they available else where?
They are on Gun Broker fairly regularly, or you can get them from DW directly…$190 to $433, depending on length. Here's a link to the price list.

Next few wekks will be busy but sounds good, maybe after the holidays, where do you shoot? I go to Hoffmans in Newington, but prefer Blue Ridge Trail in Wallingford, weather permitting since it is outside shooting.

I've been all alone for so long, now we're ready for a State get together. I don't care so much for Hoffmans, I'd rather not HAVE to buy my ammo there. Have you ever been to Wolf's in Bristol? I find it a little more user friendly. I also shoot a lot of .22 lr at my local club.
BTW, late December is pretty good for me. Did you buy the 15-2 that Hoffmans has?

I shoot in my backyard, have a 100 yard range. Of course, we can get closer to the target if needed.

Well guys. It sounds like fun. I have been in Hamden for 3-1/2 of the last 5 months helping with my son's first child. Unfortunately, I will have to miss your get-together because I'm back in sub-Chicago. They won't need me back in Hamden until March.
While I'm disappointed that I will not be able to join you, I'm glad to be back at home. I hope you have a great time.

Yes I bought the one at Hoffmans. I am not in love with them, I live in Middletown and am on the Berlin Turnpike most often, so go there for conveience. However I am looking into a Rocky Hill gun club. BTR has an indoor .22 range as well. So I am open for some shooting later.

Yes, thanks, got the padded case and the barrel tool but unfortunately no extra barrels.
will try to get as we go forward, gun show coming up in Wallingford in January 2010, so will see what they have.

Same one I had a heads up for here last week, guys. When wwkman said he'd bought a Dan and goes to Hoffman's, I was pretty sure he was the one who picked it up.

I figured I'd post a pic so you would know who this nut case is. This is the coyote I shot with black powder on Christmas day at 2pm in Connecticut.

Looks like quite a successful hunt. Local or did you go the western hills for the coyote. Either way looks like you had fun. By the way i checked out Wolfs and really like them so I am going there instead of Hoffmans from now on.

Got the yote in the western hills of Salem, CT. Actually on West Rd with for the most part is the boarder between Salem and East Haddam. Fun is what it's all about.
