Lots of guns but my first Dan Wesson.  I'm not good on forums either so if I'm posting in the wrong place i'm sorry.

I would like to find out the model and year of this pistol.  I got the 2-4-6-8 inch barrels with it.

Serial number 1931XX, Monson, MA

All help appreciated!

Best guess on the year of manufacture would be 1978. It would be a model 15-2 pistol pack. Do you have the original case? Photos would be helpful.

Welcome from central IL!!

4 barrel assemblies, nice!  Do you also have the original case and accessories like tools, belt buckle, patch, etc?

If your gun has adjustable sights it is a model 15-2. That is most probable. If it has fixed sights it is a 14-2. They are rather scarce in a pistol pack.

I'm going to try to upload photos.

No feeler gauge.  Can someone tell me the correct thickness gauge to get?

No manual, Foam a little deteriorated just like me.IMG_4937.JPGImage Enlarger

Just buy a set of feeler gauges they are handy for more than firearms. The one from DW is .006, many here go less than that, personal preference, that's why a set is more cost effective. Plus original factory ones sell on E-bay for waaaaay more than a set of feeler gauges.
