To be honest there were no slotted shrouds (from the factory) for any length or finish .44 magnums. The slotted shrouds were all made for the SuperMags (.357 Max., .375, .414, and .445).
The shrouds were available in blue or stainless for the 357 Max; blue only for the .375; stainless only (I think) for the 414; and stainless and blue for the 445.
The 8 inch slotted shrouds all had 2 slots on each side.
The 10 inch shrouds had 3, 4, or 5 slots. there were 3 slots on each side, and some also had 1 or 2 slots on the bottom.
I hope this answers your question.
Here are some examples:
BTW, welcome to the DWF. This is a great place to learn all about your DW revolver. Many knowledgeable people here who can help. However, they will also feed your DWAS, and that can get expensive.

Good grief, I sorta feel inadequate showing my paltry example, after that excellent barrage...err...layout! Nice work, Zoomie!
Ok, so this is about the only slotted flavor not shown above...a .445 SuperMag slotted heavy barrel configuration.
