Yes, the guns are identical except for the bore, chambers, and firing pin location. And I am not certain of that last one.

Yes, the guns are identical except for the bore, chambers, and firing pin location. And I am not certain of that last one. With that being said, sideplates are hand fitted to the frame. A replacement sideplate may be very difficult to fit right, especially if it has already been fitted to a different frame.
