Hey everyone, my name is AJ im from League City, TX which is just SE of Houston. I have been shooting S/A Pistols most of my life, but recently started trying to do some competitive shooting - That said, i wanted to start with a wheel gun and after reading blogs and scouring the web - the answer for me was the DW 15-2 Small Frame .357 Magnum. I love the idea of being able to convert to a carry gun or compete with a 6 or 8 barrel. So i found a great 15-2 on gunsamerica after a few weeks of searching. She arrived and I was halfway there - i bought a hogue grip and love it. however i learned over tightening the screw doesn't let the hammer cock... (im sure yall are laughing at the rookie mistake)
My next step was to order every length of slab side barrel from EWK - I got on the waiting list and after a few months i was able to grab a 2" 2.5" and 3" barrel as well as a gage kit and a new wrench.
All I need now are the 4,6 and 8" Blued Slab Side Small Frame barrels - and I just got word that Eric is no longer producing them -
Does anyone know where I can buy these three barrels? I have checked gunsamerica and gunbroker daily any other thoughts or ideas?

First, Welcome! Sounds like you are well on your way to full blown DWAS. Regarding the EWK Slab sided BAs, just keep watching the auction sites. Did Eric actually say he's no longer going to produce any? If he sees your post, he'll probably comment. In the meantime, place a WTB in the For Sale or Trade section.

Welcome to DWF! Our son was stationed at USCG MSST 91104 on Galveston Island for a couple of years, pretty close to League City, as I recall.
Be sure to watch eBay for those B/A's, they do show up there sometimes.
And, forgive me but I so rarely get to do this

Welcome to DWF, AJ. You made a wise decision on choosing Dan Wesson. You are gonna enjoy shooting it. I believe there are a few of our members who shoot comp. gun. Hope you find the slab sides you want, but the heavy barrels are pretty nice as well. Worth a look anyway. As stated we love pics of DW, so show it man, and again welcome.
