Welcome. It's a new case of DWAS. 15-2 4H.Do you have a wrench for the barrel. If not, click on EWK at right and order one. You will also need appropriate allen wrenches for front sight, grip and side plate. Check under grip for corrosion. Everyone here will give any help you need.

To the place for ALL things Dan Wesson! You have two of the finest 1911's made and now you will discover the same holds true for the revolvers. I started with DW revolvers and then discovered just how great the DW 1911's are. You are on the right track. These guns are like Dorito's, bet you can't stop with just one!
BTW nice pic on that 15-2.

Hey everyone,New to the forum. I have a couple Dan Wesson 1911's. I know they aren't the same as the old revolvers, but being new to handguns at the time and buying a dan 1911 put me in a direction to search and finally get a Dan revolver. So here it is. Model 15-2 I think.
And that is the "H" Heavy style shroud, easily the least commonly found shroud type on a 15-2, and maybe/possibly a Pachmayr Gripper as well?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome cadamson, from the Southeast (SC). I hope to acquire a DW 1911 one day, someday...
