Got a nice 15-2 with only 6" the other day. Starting a new revolver journey as I have a lot of experience with S&W and Ruger. I've only done some minor armorer work on a DW some years ago, but am interested in learning more and obtaining a few more DW revolvers. Had an interesting trade a few years ago when a guy asked me if I wanted to trade for a project he tired of. I looked in the box, did the math, and then traded. Ended up with a complete DW Pointman 9 and many spare parts. I no longer have the Pointman but it was a fun and profitable trade, one of the few trades I ever felt I was truly ahead. No big deal but I am a Glock and S&W M&P certified armorer and had this M&P 9L I did some slicking up on. I ended up trading it for the 90%+ DW 15-2 and minty Taurus 62 to go with my old but very nice Winchester 62A and 5,000 rds of sealed .22 ammo. I volunteer in a relatively busy gunshop 32 hours a week, helping out a friend with growing his business. I needed a better revolver than the one I was wearing on what is mandated the gunshop as Wheelgun Weds. Now I just need a 2" barrel and new smaller grips.

Welcome from just a tad south (MS)!
Those PM7/9 are nice guns! I just traded mine off as well though, sticking to my revolvers.
Eric can fix you up with a really evil looking 2" snubby barrel, or gunbroker is your best bet for a used original. LB can cook you up a great carry grip, he did a custom job for my wife ( a southpaw) and has several designs good for carry.
By the way just so you know we like pictures! So some nut may throw this out... of I wouldn't:
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.

Hey if Eric recommended you then you can't be all bad! Glad you are here and seems we may have another that is not afraid of getting the ole hands in the middle of the Dan!
Welcome to the DWF! and yes we like pIcs. Even the 15-2, most of us my have one or 2 of them so every one that is saved (in the hands of someone who cares) is worth seeing!!
Look around and yes check with LB on some great grips! As said Eric can hook you up with a 2.5" that will make folks go WOW!
and thanks for the pic!

I know pics are interesting but I figured an average 15-2 was passe' for the diehard crowd of DW fans here.
Quite the contrary, I'm afraid. We all love seeing some of new (to us) DW's. Thanks for sharing the pics & story, and any friend of Eric's is surely a friend of ours. Welcome aboard.
