Yay! Just won me DW Revolver on Gunbroker. Looks like someone was trying to put together a pistol pac of there own as I got three total barrels, a 4", 6" and a heavy 8" in a case for about the cost of a new SW686. Wow! What a deal! Can't wait to get the gun!

Been wanting a revolver for a while now for hunting and to fill a void in my collection (this is also my first revolver!). I was looking at a Ruger GP100 and SW 686 when my FFL dealer suggested I look at Dan Wesson revolvers since I am a CZ fan (I know they didn't build the gun, they just own the company now). Read the reviews, did the research (now I wish I would have jumped on that Stainless example when I was still researching) and now soon to be owner!

Hopefully the revolver comes in and checks out A-OK. I can't wait! big-grin

Hey congratulations and welcome to the forum! I think I saw the auction you got on Gunbroker, looks to me like a heck of a deal which is rare these days. When you get it shoot us some cool-pics and give a range report. And if you come up with any questions you cant find answers to, fire away, lots of Dan fanatics here.

Congrats on the DW. I'll admit I'm a big CZ fan as well. Picked up a SP-01 back in December and am seriously impressed. It's hard to beat big all metal handguns that hit what you aim at. You've found the right place to get to know what you've got.
