The Obama administration intends toforce gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens throughthe signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signinginternational treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use theUS State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress.Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizenswill be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These arelaws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as theUnited Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg.The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban andconfiscation of all firearms.The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of guncontrol that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before UScitizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear before thepublic and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (inthe United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked insecrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US tointernational treaties and foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama istelling the truth? What it means is that there will be no publicized guncontrol debates in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up onemorning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibitsfirearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public. We willwake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty thatprohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yetanother morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires UScitizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collectionand destruction center or face imprisonment.This is not a joke nor a false warning. There is a pretty extensive editorial in American Rifleman that just came today discussing this same issue

Sounds like an international treaty that deals with arms import/export. Not an outright attack on the liberties our 2nd amendment protects.
From the Reuters article:
"Nations would remain in charge of their arms export control arrangements but would be legally obliged to assess each export against criteria agreed under the treaty. Governments would have to authorize transfers in writing and in advance.
The main opponent of the treaty in the past was the U.S. Bush administration, which said national controls were better. Last year, the United States accounted for more than two-thirds of some $55.2 billion in global arms transfer deals."
The US arms manufactures may have to deal with more government controls and red tape, and would be the real victims.
I don't support the treaty as It likely would not accomplish what they (the international socialist A-holes) want it too; control illegal arms trafficking. Nothing good will come of it, except maybe create more jobs.
