Meet The Press’ David Gregory Breaks DC Gun Laws on National TV and no charges are pressed. Not to mention the fact that he had one shows that the law in DC doesn't prevent getting them, thus shooting holes in his argument.

Here's the petition to have something done about the obvious selective enforcement of the law. There can't be much difficulty in prosecuting with the video evidence.

And David Gregory has no worry about violence in his kid's school:
"The Gregory children go to school with the children of President Barack Obama, according to the Washington Post. That school is the co-ed Quaker school Sidwell Friends.
According to a scan of the school's online faculty-staff directory, Sidwell has a security department made up of at least 11 people. Many of those are police officers, who are presumably armed."
If there had been even one armed officer at Sandy Hook, how might things have been different?
11 person security plus Secret Service. Pretty easy for this weasel to be sanctimonious about school safety, I think.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
