Interesting point that the lobbyists and special interest peddlers are not at fault or the problem, they're just doing their jobs.

I dunno about that.
The lobbyists & special interest groups pull a whole lot more strings than we give them credit for. The friggin' unions are out of control these days. The politicians are merely their puppets in play...some more than others, granted. And more often than not, we are merely sheeple who are programed to agree with which ever way the propaganda winds blow.
However, I do agree that Congressmen & politicians in general do seem to create & perpetuate the very problems they rally against. What a bunch of sick, twisted freaks.
It's as if the sell their souls to the devil, the very day they take that oath...

Lobbyists and special interest representatives merely offer, the elected representatives (our employees?) are the greedy pigs racing to the trough.
