The BATFE web site will give you the info you are looking for but..... FWIW, I would go talk with a local FFL that you trust about the headache you incur. In other words, is the juice worth the squeeze? You have to declare hours and the business (brick and mortar) must be open during those hours. The paperwork must always be available and when you surrender your license, you have to ship all copies to the BATFE at your expense. BATFE has the right to conduct an unannounced inspection of the business and if that's out of the home...well.... enough said.

So if I want to get a gun and don't have FFL, I have to gothrough a dealer or such and then buy from them ??
No, you don't. All you have to do is arrange delivery through an FFL dealer. They usually charge $50 or less for the service, except where I live, of course. Here we have to pay more.

Call around to your local pawn shops and gun shops and ask what they charge for a "firearm transfer". My LGS does them for $20.

We shall see. that's how it was advertised. See protective paper? at rear of cyl.? Now since we went there. Would you ?A; put it on the book shelf to collect dust
B; squirrel it away in gun safe
C; go shoot that SOB
Normally, I would say shoot that SOB ... but, if it truly is an unfired NOS piece, I think I'd squirrel it away as an investment and go find another "used" one to shoot. Just my 2-cents.

Pete, I vote C ! ENJOY.. Keep it clean and it will hold its value. But decide when you see it. GB is always a gamble. Its in very nice shape but the turn line is pretty evident and the extractor rod looks like its seen use. That yellow behind the cylinder is typically a plastic disc on Dan Wessons that comes on and off....as long as you don't lose it.
Very nice gun to be proud of
