The Aussies have been kicking themselves in the rear since they let this happen.

Watch the video and you will see the stats (they have went up since) on the rise

of violet crimes.

 

The 650K guns that were turned in took over year and cost tens of millions of

tax dollars to gather and destroy.  Now on the other hand they estimate we have

somewhere over half a billion guns here state side wink

Just to add another tidbit, the estimate on number of gun owning households is

estimated at around 52 million, I say that is low because not everyone is going

to tell you if they are. But let's just say it is, now let's look at the two largest

(not strongest or armed) standing army's. China at 1.1 million and India at

1.2 million.

Can you see where I'm going here smile. Now after the recent spur of gun and

ammo purchases this country has made in the past few weeks and is still, I

think we can safley re-quote Yamamoto and say " There would be two rifles

behind every blade of grass"  wink
