Interesting how New York and New Jersey have a 10-round limit on magazines already. Now they want to impose that on the rest of the US. Regarding the 1000 foot "barrier line" - that's just ridiculous.
Lastly, heaven forbid they should consider providing adequate funding for MH services so Vets and others, like Loughner, can actually get the quality help they need BEFORE they totally snap.

For starters I hate to boohoo anything here but in a crowd scene like that is anyone really sure they would realy want to squeeze off a round? On the flip side I have also had a heated arguement over magizine size and a national gun registration. These knee jerk lefties are very serious and we should take them so,no one here wants a second Brady era.

I can't say what I would do until I am actually in the position, in the heat of the moment. From what I've read of how it was on this particular scene, it sounds like there were probably too many people in the way & so no, I wouldn't have wanted to squeeze off a round.
On the first day, I heard that there was a guy there with a CCW (haven't heard more on that since, BTW) & he chose to not fire his gun because at that moment there was just no clear shot.
