Received an e-mail from our state Senator Freirichs ( who hear from me often) that the Senate and house have passed a CC bill and sent it to the Govenor.
It is not perfect . It does contain some Chicago garbage. But it is "Shall Issue'. It does recognise military service, present CC carriers and recognizes your vehicle as an extension of your home. It sadly has high cap mag ban, public transportation ban (gang turf), certain public buildings restrictions and other windy city (hot air) language. Far better than nothing and will get improved.
More will become known as this gets public. No regrets having a short barrel for the 15-2.

I've seen info about this on other sites, my thinking is ANY step forward is a win.
We are seeing too many steps backwards lately. Any victories are cause for celebration.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I agree with Steve any ground gained, especially in IL, is a win in "unfriendly" territory.
