Looks like your gov isn't going to wait for Barry to make regs, he's going to do it first.
7 round mag. limits? What does that mean even for 1911's?
Wonder if Remington will leave NY?
What does this mean for Dan Wesson?
I suppose they could make the mags one round shorter but...?

I don't know how she keeps getting elected, as no one I Know likes her.

I really can't wrap my head around the new laws/ proposals. It is obvious that laws only control law-abiding citizens. Crime is commited by criminals who don't abide by the law. What is so difficult to understand about that?
I just don't get it.

Ron,
It is simple, you and the rest of us subscribe to a thought process called "logic". The people ranting about legislation subscribe to "emotion" and the Dems social media which have never heard of "logic". If they looked logic in the eye they would not even recognize it. But alas, you knew all this anyway... Just thought it was worth stating, made me feel better

Oh don't delude yourselves. They are quite logical in what they are doing. They wait for the right situation to occur to get the masses emotional enough to allow them to make the changes they want.
Unfortunately both sides are guilty of using this tactic, as it has worked before. This is not a knee jerk reaction, it is all carefully planned. This has been in the works a long time.
The scary part is that many will allow it to happen in the cause of making us "safer", (even though it will not do that). Because right now it will hardly affect them. By the time it does, the second amendment will be gutted. Take it away a little at a time, and people will just put up with it.
I know all that may sound paranoid, and deep down I hope that is all it is.

It sucks for NY shooters, but the cards are on the table now, and those cards include enough to pull in many more of the "sportsman shooters" than I ever thought would happen.
So many proposals, bills, drafts, etc. have come out in the past two weeks that only dilute their efforts. The battle line is now clearly marked, we have a clearly defined target, and hitting that target dead center and with overwhelming force is essential.
We need to confront this now, and we need to push on every front. No matter how "gun friendly" you think YOUR state is, no place is safe. If the NY law stands, it becomes a model for other places, in lesser or greater degree.
If you do not kill an infection, it grows and spreads until it overwhelms every defense.
When Cuomo gets his ass handed to him on this legislation it will make every other vulture think twice.
It's time to get in the fight guys. We are shooters, we train to hit the target, and the target is UP.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
