Seen a couple of glancing references in the media to proposed legislation targeting weapons with "threaded muzzles". Apparently intended to restrict the use of cans which are NFA to start with. My question is how this would be interpreted (common sense aside) with regard to Dan Wesson revolvers? All speculation at this point but wondering if some readers residing in climes already having restrictive laws have run across this question and how it was interpreted?

Interesting question, I think that the DW will fly under the radar on this, although the existence of the compensators that screw on in place of the barrel nut create a problem.
About 3 years ago I was contacted (via the Serial Number Registry link) by a police detective from Georgia who sent me some photos of a DW revolver that had been altered to accept a home made suppressor. The gun had been used in an attempted murder, and for obvious reasons the photo will not be displayed here. DWF was able to provide information for his report including accurate Model and year of manufacture, as well as a description of how the gun had been altered from it's original state, along with a comparison photograph of an identical DW revolver in factory original condition.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
