Ok ... if your like me get ready to be grumpy. Seems S. Korea has near 1 million M1 WWI guns it wants to sell to the american public in an effort to raise money for its own military. But gun-haters have convinced the administration to block it. Just who is blocking it is unclear, but it is being blocked.
As for myself, I don't have nay long arms bigger than a .22 ( other than an 1800's double barrel shotgun). I would like to own an inexpensive .30 carbine ( never like the garand... too heavy!) So I don't know if we as a group ever make a stement.. but I sure would liek to call out the Bradygroup as full blown idoits for saying the M1 garrand is a high capacity military gun and should be banned.

I saw this about a week ago, and I was not surprised. In some way America will be safer if our avowed ally is not allowed to sell fifty year old rifles to Americans legally qualified to own them, so they (the South Koreans) can upgrade the weapons used by their Armed Forces.
What's next, abolish the CMP?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
