Guys - This was just passed on to my by one of the largest firearm distributors, Davidsons. Ruger will prepare a letter in your name to send to the President, Vice-President, your Senators, Representative, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State-Level Elected Officials and State Attorney General. All you need to do is click on the blue button "Take Action Now" on the right side of the screen, fill in your information, and they'll send the letters out. This is by far one of the simplest and fastest methods I've seen yet. Please take advantage of it and get your voice heard. Pass it on ot all your friends, post it on facebook, and post it on the other forums as well.

CF - there must have been a field missinng info. I didn't have any problems filling it out for me and my family. How is everyone else getting their voices heard? I hope no one is sitting back with the thought 'The NRA will take care of it". Everyone needs to go out on a limb this time and contact their legislators and this is one of the easiest ways to accomplish that. There was just a news release today stating that the president had a vast amount of resources he was going to put into his gun control campaign. Everyone needs their message heard and fight it.

With all due respect, there is no simple way to take action. No one act or tactic succeeds in the face of what is coming, and no shooter is safe in all of this.
If a law limiting to 7 rounds (Ruger 10-22? Browning Buckmark? ...) can pass anyplace, it's time to be pretty damn concerned.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Bill - any attempts to support the 2nd amendment will be a help. The anti-gun movement headded by Feinstein is out there asking "the people" to call their Senators and House members and ask them them to support the gun control legislation she is proposing. Here it is in black and white -

Ruger couldn't have made it any easier to get your message out and it's discouraging to see the lack of initiative here. There's no excuse for it.

Mine went right thru when I did it. I'm sending a hand written letter to each on the
list as well. I have read on other boards the hand letters are getting more of a
response than the emails. Either way atleast they get millions of responses.
Like Harley said if you do nothing else go thru the Ruger site and send a message !
