This came from a friend. it's long, I know, but it is truly appalling!
Big Brother is at bat and his team is winning. They might as well declare Obama president for life, disable the constitution, and declare the USA a comunist country if they pass this abomination.

"Dear friends, Our health care system is under attack. If you and I do not let our congress know how we feel about the proposed health care bill we may regret it later. I have listed some areas of the health care bill for you to read for yourself. I'm asking you to send letters to your paper, e-mail all of your friends, contact your representatives and senators about this proposed bill.
Please read all the items below from the proposed health care bill as I doubt our congress has read very little of the bill itself.
Pg 22 of the HC Bill MANDATES the Govt will audit books of ALL EMPLOYERS
THAT SELF-INSURE!!
Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill - THERE WILL BE A GOVT COMMITTEE that decides
what treatments/benefits you get
Pg 354 Sec 1177 - Govt WILL RESTRICT ENROLLMENT of Special needs people
Pg 42 of HC Bill - The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your HC
Benefits for you.
PG 50 Section 152 in HC bill - HC WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL NON-US
CITIZENS, illegal or otherwise
Pg 170 Lines 1-3 HC Bill- ALL NON-RESIDENT ALIENS will be exempt from
individual taxes.
(Resident Americans will pay)
Pg 58 HC Bill - Govt will have real-time access to individuals finances
& a National ID Healthcard will be issued

accounts for electronic funds transfer, no choice

plans under Govt control.

provide public option, pays 8% tax on all payroll

provide public option pays 2-6% tax on all payroll
Pg 167 Lines 18-23 ANY individual who doesn't have acceptable HC
according to the Govt will be taxed 2.5% of income

to ALL Americans finances/personal records

treated as tax"

OFLIFE plans. AN "ORDER" from GOV
Pg 429 Lines 13-25 - The govt will specify which Doctors can write an
end of life order.
PG 430 Lines 11-15 The Govt will decide what level of treatment you will
have at end of life.

I promise to come back and read all of it, unfortunately about 25% of the way through, I suffered a heart attack! Now will use my perfectly suitable Health Care benefits that my employer and I pay for.
it's that whole having a job and being a functional part of society thing that doesn't seem to work out for many people.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Wait 'til you get to the last part which describes the end-of-life benefits and states that the go'mnt will determine your e-o-l benefits. They're going to tell you when you can die and how!
The only thing this health care bill missed was specifying the permitted number of inhalations per minute. They could do this with a sliding scale inversely related to age. That way we'd all be dead from asphyxiation before e-o-l benefits need to be deterimned and the e-o-l determination people wuldn't have to do anything, just like the rest of the bureaucracy.
I'm sorry if this offends, but I hate socialists!
