I've been somewhat of a conspiracy buff since a teenager, but the thing
Jones has done for me is make it immediate.

You remember when those G2 summit protests got broken up by the police....
Well, like most people, I got only Big Three news about it, so I figured the
protestors were being violent and irrational. Jones showed that the police had
infiltrated the protestors with masked agent provocateurs, posing as anarchists
and destroying things so the police would have an excuse to run roughshod over
the rights to peaceably assemble and speak. Here's more on that:

And like so many people, I've been voting republican as the lesser of two
evils, but no more.

Consider this: I heard some teenagers talking and they mentioned something
about having to have their I.D.s to go somewhere. That struck me as odd, so I
asked what they meant. They told me that they’d been taught in school that you
have to have your I.D. to be in public. Well, goddammit, that is a lie! These
poor kids are being lied to in school. Apparently they are being told a bunch
of shit that makes them malleable for a tyrannical dictatorship. I tried to
explain to them that, no, you don’t have to have a license to walk the street,
that that is police state stuff and un-American, and do you know what happened?
They began arguing with me very aggressively. I mean there was real disdain and
scorn going on. They angrily defend their own oppression!

I know that not all young folks are like that. I know that many old folks
are like that. But if the old folks want to, they can remember the sixties,
when if you wanted to carry a concealed weapon, you walked into a gun shop,
bought a pistol, dropped it into your pocket, and you were legally carrying
concealed. If you wanted a beer, you went to the store and bought some. None of
this Orwellian showing your I.D. stuff. You can’t even buy drain-o at Wal-Mart
anymore without giving the cashier your zip code. I bought some electronic
gadget at best buy a while back, and the salesman wanted a bunch of personal
info from me. I told him no. He looked at me like I’d suddenly spouted bat
wings or something, like, “What the hell do you mean, ‘No’?”

The way we are going, we are getting a slow, incremental movement into
tyranny. In my opinion, it is better by far to go quickly thereto, so that
people can be duly alarmed by the stark difference.

Another thing Jones does is shine a bright light on the fact that we do not
own the government, that it is almost totally bought and paid for--by super
elite bankers who create money by announcement, loan it out, and then tell
everyone how indebted they are. There is no national debt. The money was
created by fiat, and the politicians borrowed it against the will of the
people. I won't be enslaved, thank you very much. The federal reserve is an
illegal organization anyway. Congress has muttered about auditing it. What they
should do is muster the Marshal Service and storm it.

What will I do, you ask. I'm working on a personal website and a YouTube
page. I've ordered a documentary from Jones, of which I will leave copies at
the laundry mat and the grocery store and just where ever I go. I will compose
and print up pamphlets, too, for that purpose. Where ever I go on line I leave
links to Jones' sites. Jones sometimes calls for people to go demonstrate. If I
can get off work, I will do that.
