Recently snagged a Ruger 22/45 MK III and Browning Buckmark at the local Cabela's.
I already had a great Buckmark with a Tactical Solutions 6" Bull Barrel and Burris Fastfire, and I have owned a Ruger .22's in the past, and still own an SR-22
The (new) Ruger is perfect for me because it is a Bull Barrel with the .45ACP grip profile. The (new) Buckmark is the iconic 6" heavy barrel that most of us have owned/still own.
Cost to me? DW 15-2 4VH and 715 4VH DW revolvers (both offered previously on DWF) and Cabela's store credit for the balance (in my favor) that has already brought home and a LOT of .22lr , .357 Mag and 9mm ammunition, half a dozen magazines for both guns, dedicated range bags for each, several knives, and there are still $$$ left over.
BTW, Cabela's showcased (and presumably sold) the 15-2 for $700 and the 715 for $950, gun only, no tools, box, case, ...
HUH!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I would say that you got the better end of that deal. I really like my Ruger MKIII Hunter, the grip angle, the heavier weight (more consistent with my other hand guns), and the ease to tune it to just your liking makes this pistol and amazing shooter. I have installed all Volquartsen internals and it has a crisp 1# trigger that anyone who fires it wants to keep shooting it.
Enjoy the new hardware.

Just the stock sights at this time, probably some type of upgrade coming.
The really nice part of this is that most of my shooting of late is at a small local club, small membership where you get a key to the door and shoot whenever you want. .22 lr only, cases of paper bulls eye targets available, a mile from home and on my very short commute to work.
