Has anybody seen one of these in person, it is a strange looking bird to say the least. I watched a video on the internet and it was impressive. I guess the automatic pistol was strange when it first appeared to the wheelgun folks. Who knows, we might be looking at the future of revolvers. Only time will tell.

Saw the snubby in person, it's quite a large gun. There's supposed to be long barrel rhinos coming out soon, and I believe you can change out the barrels and shroud on those.

Dealer at gun show last week had 2" snubbie, and 4" and 6" versions with wood grips. I guess the longer versions are available now. From looking at a schematic of the lockwork they seem very complicated, as they do not have a true hammer, and I do not like the red flag indicator for single-action condition. After the hammer is cocked for single-action shot, it returns to full rest, as the "hammer" does not actually perform its traditional function. The only indication of a single-action trigger pull is the little red dot that pops up at the rear of the frame after cocking. But they do look kinda cool. I have also read that they have great recoil control.

Recoil control is better because the bore axis is lower in the mass of the revolver, and closer to the hand. More of a pushback, less flip, like many autoloaders when compared to a revolver.
Not only ugly, but fugly.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I've been looking for a 6" rhino for a couple months with no luck, had no idea they were actually available yet. Dang'it, I'm regretting buying my Yugo now. Oh well.

I just purchased a 4 " and 6" Chiappa Rhino Revolver. (Contact below) They are enroute to me from. I'll try them out in the next several days , I hope, and see how they compare to my Mateba Unica 6's.

They may be fugly but I really want one (in particular a 4" one).
A friend of mine has a Mateba and its hands down the most accurate handgun i've ever shot … hope the Rhino is that accurate.
Well, I have a Mateba with both 6 and 8 inch barrels, and yes, it is very accurate. But I really don't think it's any more accurate than my Dan's with the same barrel lengths.

That one lends new meaning to the word Fugly.
People bought the AMC Pacer, too!
Double Fugly, but it did the job.[Image Can Not Be Found]
