I do not know much about these Colt Python new models this is a 2022 it does have a Wilson rear site put on it. No box or paperwork It seems like a really good deal. someone put a Pachmayr Gripper on it. May have a few blemishes on it. Does anyone know much about these guns? Reading online the site was the biggest problem but anything you can tell me if I should scoop it up. $950 shipped no tax will have to pay 3% CC fees. Thanks! click on pix for larger view!

They're nice guns and you got a decent price on it. The trigger/lock-work is nice, but as Stinger mentioned it's not quite like the "buttery" feel of the older production guns. But then again, nothing is like the old days anymore and an older production SS gun will cost 4x what you paid and more.
They were shipped from the factory with Altamont grips, and I'd put an original Altamont grip back on it. The stock/standard grip is the Target, Checkered/Super Walnut and it looks the nicest. You can get it here directly from Altamont>>

Save yourself the $10 and forget the red hang tag. It's a used gun and doesn't matter at this point. There was also a silver tag that wrapped around the trigger guard, but again, it doesn't belong on a used gun.
Any questions send me a msg.

Yea I noticed the used prices of the "New Pythons" are going down also. I bought two of the original ones and an Anaconda back in 2019? paid the going rate of $1500 then after they sat on the shelf for a year I came to the same conclusion. Not or ever will these be a collectible Colt. I resold them got my money back. This one though is a bargain. Never thought I could pay $875 for one. I may re sell it but have to look at it first. They are beautiful guns though. I kind of like the new blue ones. Now they come out with several revolvers and it kills me the King Cobra looks a lot like the Python yet it's $500 less. Now they have the Grizzly & the Kodiak and they look about the same.

Yes, a very good buy indeed. While I don’t actually own one of these new Pythons I have read much about them, and handled examples in my local gun shop. They retain the important attributes with regard to accuracy: bank vault lockup, and an excellent trigger. Unlike their predecessors these new Pythons will likely never go out of time no matter how hard you push them, or how much you shoot them; the steel is that indestructible. As shooters they are hard to beat. Depending on how much longer CZ will continue production they may someday become “collectible” on that merit alone, but aficionados of the older Swiss watchmaker actions will likely stay with the originals.
