I popped into a new gun shop close to my work to buy some GP11 ammo and to my surprise, they had three Korth .357 revolvers in their showcase. These guns are quite rare up here in Canada, usually only brought in by special order. Each one was just about $10,000 - the blue and black were $9,900 and the gold one was $10,100.
They did let me hold one, but I had to wear white gloves and I was not allowed to work any of the action or cylinder. I quite like the looks of their proprietary blue colouring. One can only dream, I suppose.

If they ever figure out how to get their 9mm "Sky Marshall" accepted for import I would consider one. Believe it or not I think it was supposed to retail for just about a grand. Inexpensive for a Korth. Nice as it is a completely 9mm dedicated revolver. Not a 9mm built on a .357 platform. Could do without the ugly massive accessory rails as well.
On the Korth subject, I see they are making a 9mm conversion cylinder for the S&W 686.

Held one at last year's SAR show. They wanted $25,000. It was very nice.
There is no way it is worth the price. There are guns even prettier. There are guns that shoot 0,0. There are guns that will escalate more in price. It did nothing for me as I held it and felt the weight and balance. I have held revolvers that make me sweat. This wasn't one.
I am intrigued by their sales. Who buys these guns and for what purpose?

A gentleman can only brag for so long about his cars, brandy and fine cigars after dinner before he begins to bore. I suspect these are designed in large part to impress one's guests.
Unfortunately I already acquired a 986 in the past year, so it'd be difficult for me to justify one of these.
