I have been going out to shoot trap a little more this year and I really have fun with it, I have been shooting with an old Breda Auto 12 long recoil 12g that leaves me with a bruised cheek after 100 rounds. As with most field shotguns, having to paint the target was leaving a lot of straight shot rising clays difficult to time and I was wanting to get a dedicated trap gun.
I pondered for months, considered many brands and tried a few other O/U at my club and I realized that I need something with an adjustable comb to accommodate my long face. I scratched off Berettas, as only the DT11 fit me and I didn't want to spend 14k on a gun, I had a budget of $4k.
Anyways, one of my favourite gun shops gave me a deal on this Rizzini Vertex Sporting and I just picked it up today. Christmas in November! I can't wait to bust some clays.
Does anyone have any O/U cleaning/maintenance tips for lube etc?

Very nice (I'm a Fabarm guy, myself)... One thing that was very helpful when I started clays was to get an adjustable butt plate installed. That made more difference than the cheek piece. Bore Tech shotgun blend is my go to cleaner for the shotguns- great on the plastic residue. Soak the chokes and the plastic wipes out.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
