I just took delivery of a new Fusion Traditional Hunter Elite 10MM with Long Slab Side. This project was in the works with Bob Serva for 13 months. In talking with Bob he told me he does all the machining and his crew does most of the fitting, and mine had some extra machining. The wait was well worth it. His Norwich Dan Wesson work certainly comes through in the Fusions he now makes. It was sooo accurate I was amazed.

The polished slide and barrel are Black Ion Bond DLC and the frame is Yukon SNS coating. Small parts, trigger, hammer, and bushing are Black Ion Bond. The fit is tight.

Here are some pics!

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

Looks like the whole lower grip/magwell area is rounded or smoothed a lot, or is that just something that I'm reading into the pictures? I think she's a beauty, and the grips are spectacular.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

It has an extended mag well which give the appearance of the rounding.

Thanks!

That is very nice! I have an IAI Javelina long slide in 10mm. It is a great gun, you will love that Hunter.

Man, that one is a real beauty!drool Fusion makes so many cool 1911 variations that I think it would be hard to decide on the "just right" combination.

Yours looks excellent, thanks for showing it off.occasion

Beautiful gun, congrats! occasion The grain on the grips is breathtaking.  What kind of wood is that, some kind of spalted variety?
