A police department was selling their Gen 3 Glock 23s (40 S&W) for $200. First come, first serve, limit one per person. After discovering who I was (no one special, really) I was offered the Chief's old gun- so I bought it. Had to, right? So I fork over my 2 bills and walk off w/ my cased Glock. I didn't want to look stuck up and inspect it there, so I headed home. On the way, curosity got the cat and I pulled off into a parking lot to open the case.
Can you believe the Chief's gun has never been fired?? Or if so, not a whole lot. There was still factory grease on the rails!! Good start to a New Year.

Ron,.
You should like the model 23. Mine likes the 165 grain factory ammo the best, the 180 grain do not shoot at point of impact as well for my hold on the pistol. Range report? Not going to stay unfired is it? Yes, I know they are not Dan's but then I would feel awful throwing my Dan's in the door pocket of the truck like my model 23..
