After cleaning (and it was pretty clean out of the box) this new gun ran very well.
250 rounds, five different brands of standard and high velocity. Several magazines were mixed ammo in the same magazine, and I fired 3-4 magazines as rapid fire as I could pull the trigger. No failures or mishaps of any kind. BTW-on the subject of magazines, these are the first magazines I've used that have the follower tabs on both sides of the magazine. A nice touch for reloading.
Accuracy seemed good for a new gun first time out. I got down to inch and a half groups (five shots) at 50 feet slow fire from a rest. After some shooting in and finding the right ammunition under an inch should be possible.
One thing I'm not crazy about is the relatively longer SA trigger reset. It's probably not a real problem, I'm used to shooting my Buckmark in .22 lr, and it has a very short reset.
This seems to be a really nice $289 gun, I think it would be great for kids (not heavy) and as a recreational shooter and range toy/plinker.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
