Here's another interesting older thread I ran across tonight as I was searching for something completely irrelevant. Funny how the search function works on this site sometimes.
Anyway, the OP posted his amazing collection obviously on his PB account. THEN if your may recall, the peeps at PB decided to hold anyone with a free account hostage at gunpoint...that completely backfired on them (PB)...which in the end, (like 2 years later) PB eventually decided to allow the previous photos on the free accounts to only be accessible with a huge PB watermark across their pics as what...a form of scarlet letter?? LOSERS! JERKS! And as such, PB still sucks to this day. Good job, you losers. To this day, I often get a random Email from PB with a warning that I may lose all photos in my PB account if I don't "click here"...I have not logged into that account in at least a decade...GO AWAY, you losers!
Anyway, I'm off my PB rant. (Many of us had more spunky & derogatory names for that site when it was happening).
I decided that I would bump this thread in case there might be another "GUNKWAZY" out there lurking in our midst. To me, (assuming he can be taken at his word for his acquisition timeline ), accruing such an absolutely impressive collection in such a short span is/was absolutely astonishing. Anyway, I just thought I'd bump this back to the top for your guys who are new to the
in the past decade. Damn, just saying that, I feel like such an old fart!

Man Pythons are so nice. I still think of Magnum force (Dirty Harry movie #2) where you had S&W model 29 vs all the bad cops had Colt Pythons! anyway you could go broke very fast collecting old Pythons! I have one I just bought a 2022 model they are becoming cheaper on the used market now I bought this one for $875 I noticed the action is so smooth and trigger pull is very low LB in single & double action!
The value of the real Colt Pythons has taken a nose dive since CZ released the faux Pythons. Rare ones still are going up in value but the standard 4 and 6 inch guns are real bargains now.
I snagged the experimental Lawman Mkiii with the Dan Wesson style removable barrel and shroud. 4" aluminum shroud, fixed sights but no other barrel lengths were made. I have a factory letter too. It dates to 1980. Dan Wesson barrel assemblies are not compatable.
When it first appeared on Gunbroker Keystone Armory won it. A while later they put it back on Gunbroker and I snagged it for considerably less than Keystone paid for it. It is better to be lucky than good.
