In the middle is my Springfield1911 with another Springfield, their 9mm EMP below it and my newest pistol, a Grizzly 48 Win Mag above. I believe this makes a nice trio.
I took the Grizzly out to the range along with my DW to test fire both of
them. I'm happy to say that both did outstanding. Prior to buying the Grizzly I
had spent some time online checking out the round and was a little pensive
concerning muzzle flash, noise and recoil.
I was pleasantly surprised by how manageable it was. I wouldn’t call it a pussycat but only a bit snappier then a heavy loaded .44. All in all I’m very glad I picked it up. I’ve got 500 cases on the way from Starline and can’t wait to load up lots more rounds.

Man, there's no question as to which one is the LAR Grizzly in that shot.
I'd venture a guess that the tame recoil could be attributed to the compensator on the barrel. I haven't fired one either way, so I can't attest, but that's my guess thus far. Thanks for sharing the

Thanks! This is the first and only Grizzly I've ever fired. The Compensator is actually built as part of the bushing and I'm not sure that it has much of an effect at all, seems to be more of a flash supressor then anything. If it only directs gasses upwards after leaving the barrel it would seem that it would only have a little effect against muzzle flip.
