My neighbor has this .44 magnum revolver he wants to sell. Seems like new, has a 10.5" barrel. From what I can find in my research, it was manufactured in 1984 in the USA by Interarms (not imported like most of their guns were). It's a limited production model specifically for Silhouette shooting.
Does anyone have any knowledge, experience or idea of the value.

Can't tell you value on that particular model. I have one with a 6" barrel that I bought new, and it's a *very* well made and almost sturdy to a fault piece of equipment. Used to shoot it prone at 100 yards and could generally hit a pie plate. It's in semi retirement, now.. laying under the head of my bed.

I have two of them--pics are on forum somewhere. Extremely well made guns--mine both 44 mag(one SS, one blue). They have "Swisslock" hammer safety, which will lock the hammer in place with the ejection rod. Anymore a nice one will go north of $500 pretty quick.
Make sure the rear sight blade is still in the rear sight--sometimes they pop out due to heavy recoil. A quick Google search will yield a lot of info.

Just a DW guy observation, and not trashing the Dragoon, that skinny, pencil thin barrel just feels a little weird .
I'm just too used to DW VH shrouds to not notice.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
