Have you figured out what generation it is yet? There are generally 1,2,3. Some peolple like to think of a 1.5 generation as well. I cannot tell from the photos. short or long paddle mag release? Ski jump in the lower trigger guard? extended and or Ambi slide release? Below is how to read your Manufacture date code.

Note that letter J is not used. Have fun. I cannot imagine that you will not like it. Lots of people change out the rear sight for metal. I have not yet. There are several styles available. The sights and the non steel guide rod usually get negative comments. Both are available in steel. I am not aware of any guide rod failures.

All the magazines marked Walther are made for them by Mecgar. Any Mecgar magazine is as good as the Walther. Some people just insist on the Walther branded magazines. A PPQ generation one magazine will work as well. Not the Generation 2 with the button magazine release. A Magnum research MR 9 magazine is OK as well. You can often find Magnum research Mags. new for cheap. The Canik TP-9 is another clone. And S&W had their SW99 which the magazines will work from. In the cases of the clones Walther made the frames and FCG. The cloning company made the slides. S&W also made a .45 version of the P99. Of course Walther now has the PPQ in .45, but I would take a P99 version of .45 over the PPQ.
I happen to have Walther magazines. Four in 10 round version because I live in NewYorkistan. I have one Pre Ban 15 round magazine that I keep out of State. I know where there are some 16 round mags available now for $25.00 each. Walter branded. Where do you live? I would take two of them if I could ship them to someone out of NY and pick up at a later date. You interested in two?

I just noticed his are generation 1 magazines. So they have been around a while. Could be like new or could be pretty well used. I will PM you.
