I've carried my P64 several times too, since I swapped out the springs and worked the trigger a bit. Great pocket pistol for walking the dog.
Ron, they are just a fun one! near the size of the LCP though more punch or it would seem! My 1969 one is near all of time!

Up until yesterday it was S&W M-59, 14+1 9mm.Now that my public servants have decided that it must be downloaded to 10+1 rounds, I guess that's as good a reason as any to switch to one of these
It will be the LW Commander on the left, it's about halfway through and home 1911 gunsmithing makeover. 8+1 in .45 ACP is suddenly very attractive versus just 10+1 of 9 mm
Recent update on this, I am expecting to swap my 59 for a 39-2, which has a legal mag capacity in the Peoples Republic of Connecticut, it just offends my sensibilities to intentionally download a magazine on a carry pistol. Way back in the day, a 39-2 was the second gun I ever bought, soon I won't have to wish I still had it.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

My carry is a Ruger LCP. Compact, easy to conceal. Not a range gun, but that is not it's purpose.
I second that. I actually keep my Keltec 3AT on my person when I am out of the house. I do bring it to the range occasionally, but honestly that is more to make sure that the springs and parts are all working smoothly. Fit/finish not as good as the LCP...but it has yet to fail to fire and THAT is what really matters when it comes down to it.

I continue to be a little surprised and very gratified with the increasing number of people that are very OK with the LCP/P3AT guns for carry. I own or have owned both, and with the correct ammunition .380 is pretty capable for "always there".

Didn't really have a dedicated carry piece. Was holding off until business got better. Then I got a call from a guy who's owed me some $$ for awhile. (I had pretty much written it off) He asks me if I'll take a gun. Well, DUH!
So now I have dedicated carry gun. It's a 709 "SLIM" 9MM IN BLUE STEEL. The thing is new in the box with the original sales receipt, and it's never been fired. It's only worth about a 3rd of what he owed, but like I said, I'd pretty much written it off so i win!
Feels pretty good. I'll be very interested to take it to the range.

Interesting gun, although I have owned a couple of decent "Taurii" in the past, I usually drive right past whenever I see them.
Looks like it could be a pocket pistol sometimes, and a carry pistol all the time. 7+1 of 9mm works pretty well, my guess is that it will be pretty snappy with a strong defensive round.
Sounds like it was basically free, so it's a good deal!

Well, I'm used to snappy. I am after all divorced.
The other plus is 9mm is already on my list of reloads, so range rounds are doable and cost effective.
Planning on getting to the range this weekend. Have about 300 9mm rounds so I plan on force feeding it till it chokes.
