The DW RZ-10 razorback is sweet and I read they were real tack driver's . I went with the Colt because it was in stock and has a lifetime warranty which will come in handy because I intend to run maximum SAMMI loads. If your thinking about a Razorback you might want to put it on the to do list, looks like DW is going to drop it this year.

I love the 10mm in a semi-auto, it's my favorite cartridge. Nice Delta Elite you have. I ordered a Gold Cup Colt in 10mm when they first announced them and it is a very fine gun. The only problem I have is the brass gets thrown a LONG way off, but at least it groups the empties all in one place.

Is that a New production Delta, or a new old stock delta? They have been around for over 20+ years. Always nice looking guns.

I have G-29 for CCW, S&W 610-3 with 6.5″ barrel for general plinking, a 610 no dash 5″ that has only had a couple of moon clips fired. I wanted a DW but the price was just more then I wanted to pay for something that I would not be able to enjoy due to arthritic old paws. I even ended up selling my old 1006 and 1086 last year, because they just killed my hands to shoot.
Here is the 6.5″ looking good, and the 5" one below it.

Not sure if it's just a bad day or I just need to shoot'in/get comfortable with this gun. I shot 150 rnds in 3 different brands today. Not real happy at all with groups. All the ammo was FMJ ball budget ammo (if you want to call $25-$30 a box budget ammo) . 10mm is suppose to be a tack driver caliber. What's everyone using in their 10's ? What works for you ? I will post target's in the ammo forum.

With the quality of a lot of ammo today, who knows. It also could be loose nut behind the gun… maybe the gun itself is the problem…
My guess is the ammo. I roll my own.

Well my G-29 loves hard cast 170 gr LSW/HP loaded to 1000/1100 fps, 135 gr Nosler JHP that zip along 1600 fps +, and Winchester155gr JHP/ST about 1300 fps range. I have out shot several 1911 high end models shooting 25 yards at bowling pins. I was shooting faster maybe not as pinpoint accurate, but I did not miss any and they did trying to keep up with me. At 20 feet I can do well enough to be better then most of the targets I have seen from both LEO and civilians.
In the revolvers I haven't shot but a few jacked, mostly hard cast lead loaded as mentioned above, but some of the swagged softer lead at 900 fps range was very accurate and pleasant to shoot, it was Hornady LSWC/HP and would make excellent SD load in small light weight gun like S&W 310 carried CCW in summer.
Every gun is different but as a generally auto's require tinkering more to get it "dialed in" with the ammo that shoots and functions best. My G-29 seems to like the 135 gr Noslers best of the jacked ammo (135, 155, 170, 180 grain bullets) I have some 200 gr Hornady that I will be loading this week, but as yet never loaded any up to shoot.

I am looking more for a pinpoint accurate load than the speed shooting thing. I want to shoot the head off the bowling pin and knock out his nine brothers with one shot.
Your probably right, I will have to tinker with the loads on this one. Thanks for sharing your experience.

IHMSA I agree. The brass really goes for a ride. I got hit in the head with a few at the indoor range last night that bounced off the divider wall. I couldn't even find a few off them. Here's my best target from last night, my first outing with my new Fusion Scout Elite XL.

Looks like my 1006 targets looked, only not enough holes.
Not enough practice is whats wrong I bet.
My 610-3 will have all in the red at 25 yards and the G-29 would probably do the first black ring out from the red sized group from bench rest at 25 yards for me. My guess is with optics all 6 would be in the red in a ragged hole, but at almost 65 my hand & eye coordination is not up to par like 30 years ago.
Glocks are extremely accurate like the 1911's maybe more so if you stay at the Glock price point. But no matter the gun it still has to come down to the person behind the trigger, and the ammo they shoot.

For some reason, tightness maybe, modern high end 1911's need 400 to 500 rounds and sometimes more to "break in" and function proper along with accuracy improving.
