I agree, the Automag II does not like to run dirty, it likes to be clean. It took me a bit of trial & error to figure that out with the one I used to have.
I'd like to get another one at some point.

Whatever those Automags are or are not, the Millet sights are better than on any gun I ever owned.

I've got a couple of the AMT automags:
Automag III in 9mm Winchester Magnum.
Automag MK IV in 45 Winchester Magnum. They are both very accurate shooting semiautos. Love the millet sights as well!
