can be cleaned up with Windex.
I wouldn't say I've ruined you, only INSPIRED you. That is another great thing about a TC, they are easily customizable. Also, they are hard to beat in the accuracy department. With good loads, it is easy to beat rifle shooters at 100-200 yards, and THAT sure is fun to see the look on their faces, and hear their excuses. Try one someday, they sure are fun!
Adoption? I've been asked that before. If you ever get up to my range, you're welcome to shoot anything I have. That offer is open to anyone. Just remember, I do have GPS trackers on all my guns.

I have shot with IHMSA80X80. He does have a cool assortment of toys. The rnage is really cool too with automatic reset targets.
The OTT barrels seem to be very accurate. This is an OTT 15″ Encore full bull in 218 BEE, GA Jim wood and a Mueller 25X scope. I use this gun in a winter league against the rifle shooters. If I do my part it will give 1/2″ groups all night long. The BEE can sting.

Got an email today from E Arthur Brown and they state that Smith & Wesson is producing G2 Contender frames again. EABCO has them for $413 with walnut pistol grip and forend. I'm glad to hear the G2 didn't go to the gutter like S&W did with TC flint and percussion muzzleloaders.

I went in and talked to JD Jones (SSK) about 6 weeks ago, He is making me up a 414 SM encore. He also showed me his mastodon silhouette (pg 128 of the Gun Digest Book of Metallic Silhouette Shooting by Elgin Gates). Have any of you shot at this target? He had plenty of stories about working with Dan Wesson and help to develop the 44 mag. Really great guy, I'm glad his shop is close, I'm in there all the time.

I know its an old thread but man is this some cool looking iron.Last weekend I used a 10" bull 38 special barrel on an original contender frame for field pistol at an IHMSA match. I couldn't keep my wobble under control though.
That is a cool old Contender!
Here's a tip...no one can control their wobble. You have to learn how to shoot with it. The sights will never stop moving.

Here's a mean one…SSK 12" Contender in .444 Marlin with 2x Burris scope. It's been MagnaPorted, but I liked it better before when it had no brake.Wow, love them all, but this bad boy is my favorite. I bet it was a real thumper pre-brake!
Actually, I liked it better without the brake. The recoil would really stand the barrel up, past 90 degrees with one hand, but it didn't hit hard on your palm. With the MagnaPorting, the barrel doesn't rise as much, but it really thumps your palm. It is a blast to shoot it standing with two hands, one on the forend.
