Don't get me wrong I love my DW .44 mag and I love a magnum with magnum loads in it. In my mind, quality wise, DW gives Ruger a run for its money. The only problem is that the magnum is too big and bulky for personal carry. So in no way am I going to dis DW. I actually felt a little guilty when I bought my Kimber. I bought it for the sole purpose of carrying a piece with good stopping power in a small package. Even my Ultra is a bit noticeable under a thin shirt but as I get older and the establishment is getting goofier with the no carry, I'm starting to care a lot less about my carry bump. I'm also going to look for a combat league in my area. I don't intend to be competitive but I want to learn some quick deployment/tactical tricks.
