I know nothing about it. I've done some research and I believe it is the International model. The box label says "Wichita single shot classic in bc" and has the number 1284 below the bar-code, a price of 2500 and size 38.
There are a couple scratches on the left frame side. Hard to get a pic of.
It shoots .38 special, .357 magnum and .357 super mag.
Anyone who has info they can share on this piece it would be greatly appreciated.

My BBGV is a couple years old but puts 98% at $465. Here's a couple past sales:

Thanks for the links HarleySftl. I had found the Gun auction one. The Gander Mtn one I didn't see. If you look at the bottom of the Wichita page it does not look like the site has been updated since 2002. I'd guess that is when they shut down???
I went to the local Library on Saturday. The most recent BBGV they had was 2014. It matches what you said. I just wasn't sure how much prices would/might fluctuate. It showed a Last MRP as $775.
I'm just wondering if this is not the correct box as it says classic on the label. That looks to bring up a pic of a different pistol if you google the image. Were these Internationals actually that expensive at one time (2500)?
There was another Gun Auction that ended at $550 in the same time frame. I also found this one from 2013. It was a well written ad, may have helped.
Mine has a 3 digit serial number in the 400s.

My knowledge of these guns is limited to absolutely nothing but out of curiosity I did call Wichita, and they are still making the bolt action guns. The break open is not available and has not been made under the current ownership. Yours does appear to be the International model, the valuation somewhere in the $600 range is probably correct.
the price range seems to be about right I would say tops at 600.00. I bought one in 30-30 cal. in the 80s great shooter mine has the sn stamped on the frame you can see it when you open it up. I think i paid 476.00through the IHMSA, at the time sn.116. only problem I had was firing pin spring went bad and had to replace it. took one out of a pen and cut down to replace it.. they didn't have a lot of finish at the time but were very usable.

Thanks HarleySftl and pops2. I think we have the ballpark on what it's worth. I could now use some information for someone who is totally clueless.
I would assume (yes I know how to spell assume) that this pistol would be used off a rest. Would this be correct?

I just ran across this older post, I live in Wichita and Wichita arms has moved around quit a bit, first in about the 600 block of S St Francis and then over to Gilbert and Washington, it slips me where their first location was.I think they have moved to a small town just Kansas side of the Kansas Missouri line
I used to see the proprietor of W/A at gun shows around here with lots to display custom hand guns and bolt rifles although I have not seen him for a few years now I still see their products every now and then, I have got to fondle plenty of their offerings.
