My wife bought me a new revolver for Christmas. After the Money order getting lost for 3 weeks. It finally got to the seller Monday.

An S&W 686+, seven shot .357 with a 3" barrel. Damn I love my wife.

That is what usually happens to me. Got lucky on this one. Thought my wife would kill me, but gave her an easy out on a present for me.big-grin

I would like a 629 snubby myself, if I can find one at a decent price.

That's very tough looking with the 3" barrel, I like it. You are lucky your wife is understanding, my wife tolerates my gun hobbies well enough but absolutely refuses to consider guns or ammo as Christmas/birthday/anniversary gifts.

Snow? whats that? Don't miss the white stuff for a second!

Thanks Charger Fan, I need to figure out how to delete pics.

I'm just lucky my wife didn't take it for herself! She has done that on a couple of occasions.

She liked the balance but thought it a little heavy.

Now, that Alaskan doesn't seem like a bad idea! It just might be heavy enough that she won't like it!big-grin

Congrats on your new acquisition- it's a great looking piece. How about a range report once you have a chance?

I too am blessed with a wife that's a keeper- keep that lady happy and enjoy your present.

Thanks for the picture, very nice looking S&W 686, I also like the 3" barrel, seems to give you the best of both worlds, better accuracy than a 2" but still easy to carry. PS, they are both keepers the wife and the revolver.
