Another nice score, you're on a roll! I almost never run into nice finds locally, you obviously know where to look for the cool deals, congrats!

Thanks I really like the Redhawks, but this was NOT a local buy this was a GB winning Bid. Very Happy with condition and glad I won it. The Redhawk 41 Mags and 357 Mags are not common even on GB. I think my gun buying NEED is satisfied for the year 2016. The key is to simply stop looking, focus on Re-loading and shooting what I already have, Clean, Polish and repeat.

I just bought my first .41 Mag last night and would like to have you identify the best powders, primers and bullets for this caliber. Need to order another die set too.EDIT: Oh yeah, it's a 41-8VH !
I will start posting some comments and Chrono Data over on the Reloading section of the DWF, I think the monitors would rather those post show up over there. I will tell you that I am getting great results with 210-217 grain cast bullets, Federal LP Primers and 8 Grains of Unique for Range practice rounds. It is a dirty burner but that is why they make gun cleaning solvents. I have loaded Some real thumpers with Alliant 300-MP and of course H110. I will be experimenting with the 41 Mag for most of the summer, I look forward to comparing notes with you. I'll be shooting the 741 and the Ruger Redhawk.

Die Sets - I always liked LEE dies and the Factory Crimp Die is well worth it in my opinion.
Bullets- So far Sierra 210 Grain JHP- and a variety 210-217 of Hard Cast LSWC ( I am a total convert to the Hi-Tek coatings that replace the Lube on Hard Cast Bullets) I just got some Hornaday 210 Grain XTPs I am sure they will do just as well as the Sierras as all XTPs I have ever used are great.
Powder- BE-86 VERY promising starting with 10 grains at around 1300 fps and working up to 1400+ fps. I like Unique, 300-MP, H110 and will be experimenting with several others 2400, IMR 4227, Trail Boss etc.
I like Federal Primers. CCI works well also.
DATA will be over on the other section of DWF when I collect it all and get it formatted for readability.

Simple!
In every .41 Magnum I have, this load works very well. ANY 210 grain jacketed bullet, ANY brass, ANY Federal Large Pistol or Large Pistol Magnum primer, 20.5 grains H-110 OR W-296 powder.
Mix and match any of the above, the results all come out the same. Of course, work this up in your gun.
