Saw a few nice rugers at the gun show, but they zip tie everything so you can't swing open the crane. I'm a hands on kinda guy I need to be able to look everything over before I buy. It's definitely on my list if I can ever actually get to fondle one properly.
Side note... How'd you get that nice shine?

I really like Ruger Double Action revolvers I also have a blued Security Six a great shooter. I think I shoot the 6" GP100 the best. I also have a Redhawk in .357 and a Blued .44 Mag. They are all really great guns and I really enjoy taking them apart and slicking up the trigger.

they should let them hunt, I have answered, yes – remembering that it was
one of the best parts of my education – *make* them hunters.”

I have a stainless steel 4 inch Security Six. I used it in the Florida Keys as a boat gun. If a big shark was going to be taken into the boat, it needed to be calmed down first. I never had the occasion to use it. I was not worried that the constant salt water environment would harm it. I borrowed it to a friend who was staying in the remote areas of Idaho for a few months. Perhaps a little under powered for a bear gun, but a lot better than the 9mm Glock that was the only handgun he had. I had some of the original Winchester Black Talon 157 grain rounds for him to use with a few speed loaders.
