I have been a Ruger owner for many years. The Redhawk is my favorite. Trigger pull is not close to a Dan Wesson. Many years ago I put trigger springs in my Redhawks. My wife shoots a Gp100 22LR. I would like to lighten the trigger pull. Does anyone have any suggestions for springs/kits that they would recommend?

I'd also recommend the Wolff spring kit. If you're looking for one for the GP100, it is here:

The wilson combat springs are two quarters cheaper and rumored to be the same springs in different packaging:

I've always been a "don't knock it till you try it" kind of guy, but I would guess that the lightest springs in those kits will not be completely reliable when shooting rimfire ammunition. If springs alone don't quite get you the trigger stroke you're looking for, this guide on working on GP revolvers might help you out:

Grant Cunningham no longer does work on revolvers, but I found his archived web page informative on some other work that can be done to help out a Ruger trigger pull:

Over the past 5 years I've done the following work on my SP101 in 357mag: deburred the internals; polished the chambers, internals, contact surfaces, and controls; replaced the hammer and trigger return springs; shimmed the trigger, hammer, and hammer dog; carved a custom grip for correct trigger reach; and drilled and tapped a trigger stop. I'm happy with the results, but the trigger pull still isn't like a Dan Wesson.
