Buying one from my girlfriend's dad so I'm assuming I'll get a good price on it, but I know next to nothing about double barrel shotguns. Anyone have any experience with them or the brand? Any info is helpful.

I have zero details unfortunately. All I know is it's a 12guage skb over under blued. He bought it years ago and hasn't touched it in years. I brought up wanting a over under while shooting a few weeks ago and he mentioned it. Just have to wait til the weekend to have time to go see it.

OK- there are many different models; competition skeet, trap, and hunting.  Good solid line of shotguns for years.  The one thing to look at is where the top lever appears to lay when closed.  Ideally it should be right of center.  If it is center- OK, and left of center, the locking bolt needs rebuilt/ refit.  It is not terribly expensive, so don't let that be a deciding factor.  I had a Browning Citori rebuilt a few years ago for about $150.

Picked it up today for $500, it's a model 500 with 30" barrels. Barrel release lever was right from center like Ron said, all and all its a really clean gun with maybe 250 shots through it.IMAG0531.jpgImage Enlarger
