I was reading IHMSA post on his beautiful Colt Python. He got me to thinking. I remember the first and only "new pistol" I bought in the early 80's. It was a Smith & Wesson 357 mag. SS with a 6 in. barrel. It was called the target version because it had the wide hammer/trigger and great sights on it. It is one of my favorite pistols and fits like a glove. Our Georgia State Patrol back then used them. I replaced the grips with one from a GSP's pistol. Here is a pic of it and couple of my other favorite S&W. Model 66-2
This one is a Limited Ed S&W ".38 spl.". The model no. is: 10-5 E10. They use to be used as a police pistol. It's a real beauty to me.
This is another favorite of mine. This S&W is a .22LR built on a .38 spl. frame. Model 18-3.
